My Mailbox - Sent Emails

Learn how to track and review all emails composed and sent directly from your MelMe Mailbox.

1. Overview

The Sent tab within My Mailbox displays a chronological record of every email composed, replied to, and sent out from this specific mailbox container.


2. Why This Matters

Keeping a detailed log of outgoing emails is essential for record-keeping, confirming delivery to clients, and ensuring your team members do not send duplicate replies to the same customer inquiry.


3. How to Use It

Viewing Sent Emails:

  1. Log in to the My Mailbox app.
  2. Click the Sent tab in the main sidebar or navigation menu.
  3. You will see a list of all outbound emails.
  4. Click on any message in the sent list to view:
    • The exact time and date it was sent.
    • The alias address you selected as the sender (e.g. billing@yourdomain.com).
    • The full body text and any attachments you included.
    • The delivery status of the email.

4. Common Mistakes

  • Expecting forward-only emails to show up here: If you set up an alias in "Forward Mode," it has no mailbox, and you cannot compose emails inside MelMe for it. Therefore, no sent history will exist inside MelMe. Always use Mailbox Mode if you need outbound tracking!
  • Confusing Admin Logs with Mailbox Sent: The main Admin Dashboard logs show overall system traffic logs, whereas the Mailbox Sent page displays the actual contents of outbound emails sent by you or your team.

5. Tips

Conversation Threads: When you reply to an email thread, the reply is saved in your Sent tab and is also linked to the main conversation thread in your Inbox, keeping your records perfectly organized.
